2x6 pans with hood and preheater

Complete set of pans for 2x6 arch with Steam hood and preheater. Located in Eden Prairie, MN Flue pan is a Dominion and Grimm 2X3 drop flue, welded stainless steel in great shape. Syrup pan is a half pint pan, lead free soldered. Note that half pints are 24” by 33”, so this pan set is actually a 2’x5.75’ size. If you want, I have a heavy 3x3 angle I use to fill the gap between the sap pan and the stack base on my 2x6 arch. Syrup pan has some character, meaning we developed character ourselves by scorching it a few times. It’s all cleaned up, no leaks, but the bottom is wavy from those experiences! These pans have been modified to 1” copper fittings and so that you can reverse syrup pan flow by opening and closing two ball valves. This is a huge deal if you have a big year for niter formation. All the copper piping and fittings for that are included. Also included is 2x3 Small Co steam hood (Stainless Steel) with a parallel flow sap preheater. The float system is home made and works well, but you want your head tank to be at least 4’ over the pan level. If you are going to build an arch yourself, this is the way to go!
