Oil tank evaporator - we used for 2 seasons and we are now upgrading to a bigger rig. 12 gph. (15+gph if you push it hard and fire more often)
- Blower
- Stainless welded pans. Both pans are 3 section divided flat pans. (2x3 and 2x2 pans)
- Rear pan has float valve to regulate sap level coming in.
- Arch is insulated (this saved us a ton of wood this year over the previous year)
- 10' of 8" double walled stovepipe (only 2 years old)
This is a great rig for anyone with up to 90 taps.
We started with 44 taps last year and it worked great. We made some improvements with a preheater and hood and insulation for this year which worked well. We boiled with 82 taps this year.
