Description:
|
This is a Small Brothers 2x6 Lightning raised flue evaporator. I took pictures of the arch before I tried to move it - the front crumbled when I moved it. The back tin is pretty good, all the cast is good, although you can see where the front cast was repaired.
The back pan is in very good shape, no leaks, no repairs.
There are two front pans, one the original that accompanies the back pan, soldered, slightly warped, and repaired. The last time I used this pan it leaked, but sugared over quickly. The second front pan is a new Mason welded pan. It is also slightly warped, but it doesn't leak and has never been repaired.
The base stack goes with it, local made, heavy galvanized, several years left in it.
The other pieces and parts were an air-over and air-under fire - this is why the front of the arch was so tender - I needed to insulate much better. You can have this is you want it!
I have all the floats, (2 hot floats, one leaky soldered, one brand new welded), connections and I think I have both syrup valves for the front pan, but I'll have to double check.
