This is a homemade evaporator with a 2 by 4 Smoky lake tig welded combination pan, forced air, air over fire, a preheating pot, two inch firebrick and two layers of one inch ceramic blanket. It boils around 18 gallons per hour but should do better with dry wood (mine was wet and partially green). I added the air over fire and second layer of ceramic blanket this summer and have not yet done a full boil with these improvements. I did do a four hour water boil though and everything held up well but I am not sure how many gallons per hour it gets now. I am willin to deliver this quit a distance for travel expenses. I am willing to throw in various peices of small scale maple equipment (that I am upgrading out of) for a negotiable price. Make an offer. I can be contacted via email (jessekellick@yahoo.com) call or text (814-795-2032). Thank you.
