I'm in Bradford VT. Having my best run in the 15 yrs I've been where I am. I have 270 buckets out and sit at .38 gpt so far. 1st time I cracked 100 gal in a season, and am eyeing the house woodshed of nice dry hw now...
The next week looks OK for weather Beyond that I will be done
Tapped the 9/10 of March and its been non stop for me.
I always enjoy this thread and even though most of you folks are big producers I am sure lots of small timers follow it too, so trying to represent the biggest run so far was 3/28 I gather 675 gal from a 24 hr run!

It slowed down significantly yesterday. Got about 100 gallons and the peepers were peeping hard! We are at about 900ft elevation.

Same here except about 300 gallons for our 1650 taps. But those peepers are singing and we're about 800 to 1100 ft across our sugarbush. Hopefully the predicted colder nights next week will keep us going.

Also saw the wood ducks on the pond this morning - 2 pairs actually.

I’m at 1200 elevation and no peepers yet. Sap is only running 140 gph but it will run all day and all night. I should have close to 1 gpt by tomorrow morning. I fully expect to run all week with lots of freezing nights to come. Sap testing at 1.3%. I’m only at 2/3 of where I want to be. Plenty of time to have a great season.

P.S. if you start to hear peepers, just shoot your shotgun into the pond. 😁

I'm at 1400 feet. No peepers yet but wont be long. Sap has slowed but still coming in decent. My guess is we'll be done by the end of next week. We shall see

Sap has slowed down to 75 gph this morning. It should pick up a bit during the day. Starting tonight we have four nights of freezing temps. Sap quality is very good and still testing 1.3%. I’m
Hopeful we can go till the 20th but time will tell.

Temps went down to 28 last night. Full sun and 45 today should get sap rolling in a few hours. The 10 day forecast does not look great. Hoping the weather man is wrong again so we can continue the season a bit longer.
