Spud- did you see your neighbor (abutting property) put up his sugaring operation up for sale 260+ acres and 20k taps for 4.2 million?? That’s a wild number even for that sized operation. Granted it does include a house but still.

sap is running as hard as it ever has. I’m at 1.8% and a bit cloudy. Apprx 260+ gph hoping for another light freeze tonight then another marathon for two days. Weekend is looking pretty good here as well. Fingers crossed

I wish him well. If he gets his price then I should sell mine for 2 million.

He’s a very good friend of mine. I always wish him and his family the very best. Even if he finds a buyer, he still has another 20,000 taps to play with.

Sap has been running 400 gph since noon. This is my biggest run this season. Next freeze is in two days. Ten day forecast looking real good. Hoping to go to the 20th of April.

ran real hard here yesterday. best of the season so far. still testing 2%. the sap was a bit cloudy this weekend but it was clear yesterday. woke up to 29 degrees on the thermometer at 5 this a.m. should be another really good day for the sap to run! 2 more warm days here then it appears as we'll be back to normal temperatures.
