Got about 50 gallons of sap would of had more but the wind in my area was crazy and most of my trees are exposed so I had a good number of drop line pails blown off![]()
2017 45 taps 43L
2018 55 taps 50L
2019 60 taps ~75L avg sugar 3.3%
2020 60 taps 70L
2021 60 taps cant remember
2022 60 taps 95L
2023 60 taps 75L New baby came day off boiling started, gave away 1200L of 3% didn't have time.
Mark I know what you mean about the wind! It's been crazy out for two days straight. Without tying the jugs to the trees they would have been in Kansas by now. Get ready for the coming snowstorms and a four day rest from the sap. It's shovel time.

Don't like the look of the 2 week forecast. No freezing nights after the cold snap. Hoping we don't get freezing rain tonight. Going to be windy.
