Started tapping this weekend again! Put 76 taps out on Saturday and already had 105 taps out before the deep freeze set in. We were hoping to hit the January run, but missed it.

Looks like they will run this week!

Goal is 200 taps and 50 gallons of syrup. Hopefully the weather cooperates!!

Collected 150 gallons of sap water today!

Trees that the snow had melted off around the root ball ran pretty well. Averaged .83 gallons of sap per tap.

Will fire up the cooker tomorrow!!
