Great photos 5050! You're so lucky to have made that many perfect examples of different grades this year. Good idea to add your honey as a backdrop. Just increases my jealousy.

Thanks all the ratio was way off except that 4th run so far just about 8 gal for the season, going up now to see if it ran today was 20* last night and to listen for the peepers!going for 70* on Wednesday I'm sure it's close to the end after that last dark batch that was only a 35gal batch to start so not a long boil! As for the honey it won 1st place last year at our fairs just can't seem to cut it up that hive made around 60lbs of extracted honey mostly of locust ,tulip popular nice stuff, took 2nd in medium amber with it. Good luck to all hope for a good season!

Love seeing the color change through the season. If I sold syrup, I think I would sell a 5-pack like that!

Yes! There's my favourite shot! Inspector Kitty giving the syrup harvest two paws up!

I like that variation. Mine always stays nearly the same color from start to finish, with a little darkening at the very end.

Mine has seem to always start real light and then darken,I will have I think a 6th batch checked drums n have at least 30gal n my mountain faces north west so afternoon runs looked good on the 3/16 will see!
