To busy but will be tring to tap Sunday 1/31 looks like it's here!! This 30" of snow just made it a major project but at least I have snow to pack sap in,didn't run the new 3/16 tubing and a good thing the one line I ran last year that performed GREAT ! got chewed down in 3 places.

I'm going to set up plumbing on evaporator, swap out some drops, rinse the cobwebs out of everything this weekend. Might tap this weekend but I'm not sure yet, might hold off one more week to try to keep tapholes viable and running into March for my kids birthday, providing holes don't dry up and the weather cooperates. I usually wait until Feb 20, but its been such a whacky winter, don't feel like the trees ever really shut down, barely any frost in the ground either, could have tapped in late Dec this year and had some decent runs by now. I'm going for it Sunday 1/31 usually I'm done 4/1 so 2 months they will run??? Till then??

Tapped 1/31. Boiling now, only 90 gals since 1/31☹ sweetin the pans a bit and make sure no plumbing leaks is all. It'd be nice to pull vac on these reds and get'em runnin a bit. Maybe next yr

Not much of a run this week, only collected 60 gallons . boiled today and got 9.5 pints. i did get to use my new smokey lake bottler, so much better then the coffee urn.

Nice not much here only got some tapped not all but not much ran yet but looks like it will starting Saturday,ran my new 3/16 lines 3 lines 500' each to one tank for ease about 35 taps but it helps make it do able on the mountain instead of buckets and what vacuum!!
