Tapped out in Bloomington

Tapped late last week, boiled last Saturday to get my first pint of the year. Probably some of the best syrup I ever made!! Past 4 days I am only getting about a half gallon of sap per tree if I am lucky,hoping it will improve. I do have a brand new SS boiling pan can't wait to try it out!!!!!

nbaynes - welcome to the group. Always good to see others from Bloomington / Monroe County on the forum. I just finished my first half gallon of syrup for the year tonight.

Hope to see good runs early next week as they are calling for a cold spell this weekend. I might need it as I am not able to keep up with the 10 taps I have now. My block arch needs some tweaks to run better - wanting to complete that this weekend.
