I got a gallon of nice dark red amber syrup from boiling off last weeks sap...reall nice, a little buttery hint to it...temps this week look ok for another run....but the end next week looks really warm...highs in the 50's lows in the upper thirties.....I think this season started eraly and will end aerly at least for those of us who tap mainly reds.
