Sap is running!!

Had a GREAT run today - collected 110gal from last night, but about 1/4 of our buckets had been blown over in the storm we had at 2:30 this morning. We had about 40gal from the other day that had not been boiled yet. We have been boiling since about 10:00 and I am shutting it down at 10:00pm. I REALLY need to get my new flue pan finished!

It was running really well up here all night too....did you guys get rain last night? We had really low pressure, and fast rising temps...made for a great day, we'll be boiling in the morning.

We did not get any rain last night, but we had a beautiful day today with a good sap run, and its about 26 here right now. Its supposed to be in the low 40s tomorrow, so we should have yet another good run tomorrow.
