Got my trees tapped today

Put out 25 taps today, by the time I was done had 3-4 gallons allready, should have plenty to cook tomarrow. By next year, I have to paint all my tools orange so I don't have to search for them in the leaves. does it make a big difference if you tap on the north or south side? Guess I'll know in the morning.

tap on the south or southeast side of the tree more sun exposure makes them run longer during the day.
