I tapped two trees today, one is not dripping and the other is barely dripping. At least I was able to shovel my way to the wood pile.

Have 18 taps in since Friday night garnered 10Gallons over the weekend. Weather don't look good tomorrow night and weekend also changed to cold. Need some south winds. 😁 Have 9 more to tap. And we're off. All my pans cleaned up and ready to go.

Looking at the forecast I should be able to put up the rest of my buckets (78) next weeks, maybe 20 at a time starting Tuesday.

Sounds like you need some more snow Bruce!?! Ours is between knee deep and mid thigh. Hopefully the cold weather puts a bit of a crust on top so we can get around on snowshoes to get vacuum sensors out, fix a few more mainlines and check lines.

We got the remaining 1000+ taps in on Saturday, all mainlines are up and releasers out in the woods. The new electric releaser is wired and running. We ran the pumps for a few hours yesterday. Not a lot coming in but it was good to get some of the lines flushed out. We are ready whenever the weather permits but need to prioritize getting the lines checked for leaks ASAP.
