Need an extra hand? I’d love to help! I’m from Vermont, but now at the University of Maine in Orono for Forestry. I’m looking for someone in my area (greater Bangor area) who could use some help. I started and ran an operation with 300 taps on gravity 4 years ago, so I’ve got some clue what I’m doing, but am also looking to learn as much as I can, especially with bigger set ups with RO’s and vacuum. Basically I’m going crazy not being able to get out and sugar this year so I’m hoping to find a way to keep my finger in it while at college. As far as what I want in return for my work: I’d need to be compensated for gas to get to you from umaine (I drive a ranger @ 19mpg). Beyond that, whatever you think is fair and is feasible in compensation for my time. I’d love to make some money if that’s possible, but that’s not my only agenda here and if that’s not possible, I’m sure we could reach some sort of a fair deal.
