(50) 55 gallon used stainless steel barrels/ drums for sale only $169 per barrel

No bargain, it will be very difficult to get the oil out of the seams. Re-puposed drums suck!

I have also heard from other traders who have bought previously used SS 55 drums and they had a a wicked time getting previous flavors out...

We can say from past experience with stainless steel that these will be cleanable with a little work. Each year we sell thousands of stainless steel barrels that have minimal flavorings/ oils remaining to maple syrup companies, wineries, distilleries, water companies, etc. with only a few customers that had issues with removing smells. We recommend a hot steam or even possibly calling a local restaurant cleaning company who specialize in sanitizing stainless steel; the gamajet is great for cleaning stainless steel barrels as well if you can locate someone in your area who has one. The gamajet will continuosly repeat a 360 degree pattern. Last time we listed 50 barrels we had probably 10 different maple syrup companies call us for the barrels; we welcome any of those customers back at this time. Please don`t hesitate to ask questions if you have them. These are also the best priced used stainless steel barrels in the country so if you have to put a few dollars into getting them cleaned it will be worth it. Thanks
