2009 Palax 35 Ergo Firewood Porcessor. We have run approximately 200 cords through this processor. PTO driven- doesn't need a lot of HP (like 20hp) to run, but if you want to put it on 3pt hitch, you will need a 40 hp tractor to safely move it around. Infeed deck is manual. There is a feed-motor on the deck that helps some. Infeed is by conveyor belt, outfeed is via chain and paddle conveyor. Has 4 and 6 way interchangeable wedges. Ideal wood for this rig is between 6 and 10 inch straight wood. Takes about 1.5 hrs to load brow and run a cord through. Have done a cord in under an hour, but that takes perfect wood. Now burning pellets- don't need for sugarwood anymore.
