I recently received mine and they are every bit as good as the Chamberland and so much less expensive. I even like working with yours better because the cutter/spreaded piece on the Chamerland would always pivot in the way (and I didn't use those ever anyway).
Note that there are even cheaper tools out there that are shaped like a giant "U", but they don't let you work close to the tree which is just frustrating to use when you're putting in drop lines... beware!
These are really great construction - you obviously know what your are doing! I highly recommend these to other MapleTraders. :D
