ive never seen one like that I assume you pump the hot syrup into the middle and it filters out to the outside container. can you reuse the filters and are they and can you get replacement filters easily. how many gallons can you pump thru this at a time before it needs cleaning and how easy is it to do so

They have been around for a long time. It’s pretty simple. I get a few seasons out of filter cloths and they are available from Lapierre. I can do better than a barrel early on in the season then late slightly less. The syrup comes in the outside of the canister goes through the filter cloth into small holes in the canister to a channel then out.

Cleaning is simple just pull the can, scrape the diatomaceous earth off remove a band at each end, filter comes off put new one on and I clean the dirty one in ro water or just hose it off real good
