I was going to tap some, but broke a CV joint on my side by side that I haul sap with, waiting on parts, maybe that was a good thing to make me wait

doesn't look like you have good weather yet. your 10-15 days are too warm.

I tapped 50 Thursday and had some sap run, but I don't know how much as I let it all run on the ground as a flush. Started collecting today, we'll see. South central Ohio. Still holding 100 taps until late January or early Feb

I got almost 300 in yesterday, finishein up the rest (200) here in a few minutes.

So Thursday night here didn't freeze- at my house anyway. I have a North-northeast facing hillside, some of the trees up near the ridge were running yesterday. When i came back down to the bottom of the hill to start up another lateral, my mainline was dripping.

I was so disappointed that i didn't get finished tappin yesterday, but the 40 mph winds the night before had me fixing some tubing & moving some brush as I went along. Anyways got up this morning & it's 35F...It was supposed to freeze last night, but it sure didn't I was looking forward to a run today. Can't have it all, and thankful for what we do get!
