When We started this little adventure back in 1988 we did batch boils and finished on a stove. The stove was at my nephews house and after the first season he had to repaint the kitchen and family room from all the steam
 I was 1300 miles away by then and didnt help

I think the absolute proof I have a addiction is the fact I actually am here reading all these post's instead of reading the local paper which is in French by the way or helping with supper.

Trying for 200 taps in 2010 New evaporator that I hope works Yes it works great. 1/4 of the boil times. I just might be crazy.( make that I know I am) Time to see what the year will bring. Well still waiting on what the year will bring.

I made supper!!! but I am suppose to helping the kids in the shower but I escaped for a quick trip to the trader!!!!

Its 12am and you want nothing more than to shut down and go to sleep, but you can't stand the thought shutting down when everything is running so well and you only have 100 gals left to boil down.

The secretary says "you guy's are getting a bonus this pay", and you instantly start thinking of what maple related purchase you can spend it on! Instead of the house, vacation, etc.
