    21 degrees this morning. Trees on my hills are not showing signs of budding. I’m hoping for one more run.
    Sugaring since 2000.
    2022 - 113 taps on tubing and gravity. Homemade wood fired evaporator and homemade RO.
    2023 - 120 taps on 5/16 and gravity added a float to the pan. built a new 5x400gpd RO. Still use the old one too!
    2024 - 125 taps still on 5/16 tubing and gravity, two home made ROs.

    My last collection and boil will be after work today...........nearly two weeks after I said I was done the first time this year. lol

    2016: 85 taps 19 gallons
    2017: Purchased 2.5 acres and tubed half with 3/16. 145 taps total 49.25 gallons
    2018: 200 taps (162 on 3/16ths 38 on buckets) New NextGen RO 63 gallons
    2019: 210 taps 73.5 gallons
    2023: 210 taps 89.75 gallons

    Doing the same right now! Sap still looking and tasting good from the sugar maples in the cold areas. Will find out a little later how it holds up to a boil near finished temps.

    Well my 1st year in the southern tier is all finished up. Collected 345 gallons of sap and ended up with 6 oz shy of 5 gallons. Sap average for the season was 1.15 percent ... Cheers to better seasons ahead. Have a great offseason everybody!!
    2012.-2016 4-8 taps propane burner. Steam pan. 2- 3 quarts per year

    2017 12 taps. 50 gallon drum arch steam pan and a warmer. 1.5 gallons

    2018. 50 taps Homemade arch 300 gallon oil drum 3 steam pans 8.5 gallons

    2019. 50 taps. 8 gallons made

    2020. 70 taps. New smoky lake 2x4 pan modified homemade arch
