Default Home made maple cream machine

I'm almost done with making my maple cream machine and had a quick question with the gear pump. When the pump is running, I want the syrup to run in between the gears instead of over/under/around the gears correct?

Does anyone have the Leader Evaporator Maple Cream machine?
I'm wondering what model number is the Dayton gear motor that is on it?
    Thanks
