Latest run a little under 1.5gpt sap at 1.2%. The climb in sugar was a welcome surprise.

was hoping to get some sap yesterday and today but the trees basically gave me nothing. probably 1/4 gpt from yesterday into today. next few days look like similar conditions. hopefully the season will pick back up for me come the end of the weekend. seems like an odd year... but i also feel like i'm thinking that most years.

Things are going slow up my way also. I got about 500 gallons yesterday and today the sap is running a bit better but not great. I think we still have 3+ weeks to go. A lot can happen in that time.

Sap started running at 11am and is still running at 375gph. It should freeze up in a few hours. Sap testing at 1.3%.

got a nice quick run yesterday. got 300 gallons from my 450 taps in 5 hours, then it shut right down. gonna be cold and wintery this weekend then some nice sugaring weather next week. hopefully we have 2 more good weeks ahead! well, hopefully more than 2 weeks as i'm still not at our half a crop average.
