    Question Yellow tinged/cloudy sap

Would adding a bag of ice to my sap in storage turn it yellow/cloudy? I had some pretty fresh sap go yellow overnight and slightly cloudy even. I added a large bag of ice to keep it cold. Storing in a big 32 gallon food grade barrel.

No I doubt the ice done anything unless it wasn't clean ice. I would bet your sap just got too warm. Boil some in a sauce pan and see how it smells and taste, it may be salvagable, but boil it soon or it will be lost.
