    Default Question about sap temp

I’ve had buckets out for a few days, and it’s going to get up to 50° today and tomorrow, but freezing over night. Is that going to be too warm? Not sure how fast sap goes bad at that temp

Our rule is 3 days max. It will help if ice is in the bucket but a couple 50* days will hurt it. IMO

Okay it’s looking like 45 today, 51 tomorrow and 48 Friday. Each night dipping back below freezing. Should I put ice in the buckets? I can’t boil until Friday night or Saturday morning.
