    Default 2023 early spring?

Mid February and the long range forecast looks like sugar weather. I usually tap the last week of February in Washington County. This year might be a week early. But I'm just not ready this weekend.

    Has anyone tapped?

I agree it seems awfully early but I went ahead and put all of my 25 taps in on Saturday 2-11-23 and all of them were dripping immediately. I'm just using buckets - no vacuum.

I'm located between Waukesha and Mukwonago.

I collected 6 gal from 4 taps in my yard I put in on the 8th. Located in Waukesha. My real woods in located 3 hours north in Crivitz. Neighbor said there is still a lot of snow in my woods so I haven't driven up there and tapped yet even though it has been in the 40s for 5 days.
