Ready For 2022?
I'm looking forward to a good season - with some luck and weather!
Spent the last few years on the sidelines due to a bunch of personal issues, but I have spent the last 4 weeks getting everything ready - tuned up the RO, replaced pump on the releaser, rebuilt vacuum pump, plus a bunch of work on the tubing and lines out in the woods. Watching the weather and thinking about tapping the end of this week. Local friend with buckets started a couple of weeks ago and has had a couple of days with decent production. Anyone else out there tapping yet?

2013/4 - A few taps and propane burner
2015 - 54 taps on bags and buckets, 2x3 Mason evaporator - 3.5 g syrup
2016 - 72 taps on home-built vacuum/mainline system, home built RO (2 - 2.5 x 21 membranes) - 9+ g syrup
2017 - 91 taps upgraded RO (4 x 40 membrane) - 13 g syrup
2018 - 91 taps - 12 g syrup
2022 - 106 taps - 29+ g syrup
2024 - New 14 x 22 post & beam sugarhouse 106 taps, 23 g syrup GREAT TO BE WORKING INDOORS!
2025 - Electric and stove in sugarhouse
