Refreshing the event

I will miss Maple Day, but the moving it to Ashland made the drive an hour longer for me. I always came by myself and it was a long day with 2+ hrs of driving both ways(4+ total). Turning that into 6 hrs of travel is just too much. I realize there are not many of us southern Ohio producers and so we don't have much clout. Maybe they will post an online video afterward. I always enjoyed the vendors, visting with old friends and I usually picked up an order at Maple days, now I'll just pay high shipping cost. Looks like it going to be an all OSU thing from here on. I do like they changed the date to early December, I was always boiling by the the January date and many times left tanks of sap sit to come.

Sorry to see that. The idea was to bring everyone together for a bigger event and more social time.
