Default Have never seen the sugar maples this bad

In my area of Ashtabula county a good portion of the sugars look terrible. Its mostly mature ones that have either dropped alot of their leaves, or have leaves that are simply curling up and dying. Looks like anthracnose to me. Anyone else seeing this?

same thing going on in CNY. funny thing is, my yard trees look way worse than the woods trees. they are very heavy with seeds this year though, i wonder if that has something to do with it.
i agree it looks like anthracnose. they just curl up and fall off, especially with this rain and wind over the weekend.
7000 taps on vacuum, just trying to get a little better every year.
