    Default Evaporator Door

I'm insulting the door on the evaporator we built. Just wondering if any one has fitted a piece of stainless steel over the insulation before and how it worked out for you. The last two years we have had the insulation exposed and it did well to last the season.

Fitting a piece of sheet metal over the insulation on my door has been on my to do list for a while. I will get there one of these days.

Once you get it covered up that will be the last time you ever need to worry bout the insulation on the door.

I used some stainless expanded metal. it warped a little but worked pretty good. Still there after maybe 8 years?
