When it rains it runs. Should see mid 40s on Tuesday and rain. We are going to have 3-4 days in the 40s starting next Saturday also. With more rain on the weekend this could mean some sap is coming. I just replaced several valves at my booster tanks and I am ready to roll. I need one warm day just to check for leaks. I usually miss a few trees when I tap so I want to find them ASAP. We still have a lot of winter to come but it would be nice to get 5+ GPT before that happens. Not many Vermonters posting here lately. I think everyone is in the woods tapping away.
