My third year at this so I have a lot of learning to do. Really enjoying the constant trying to improve the process. First year I used milk jugs. Last year I bought buckets. This year I purchased some 3/16" tube and a small diaphragm pump. I tapped on Jan 24th. I have 26 taps on the 3/16 and 7 buckets at my house and about 17 buckets at my daughters house. I have collected about 130 Gallons of sap. 99% of it from the 3/16. Hardly any from buckets. The pump is a total game changer. I know the taps don't add up. I forgot a couple.
