    Default Tapping ny

Well we have so little snow here that it seems like a good idea for Ron to start tapping. If we get a storm there will no way to get up there so better to take a chance now. Yes using the new drill bit we got and loves it. IMAG2353.jpg

Ron was able to finish all the tapping yesterday. Yes cleaning the bulk tank because sap is dripping in. Start up the pump later. We're about 1,200 ft. Above the Mohawk River. Overcast and windy(our windmills are getting a work out) temp around 35° at 8:30 a.m.

Yeah were here. Sale just fell through. Everyone wants it and no one had money. Basically want to move in and figures were rich so it's ok. People that don't lead this life can never understand the incredible hard work and all your money goes into it to maintain it. It took 20 years to get this far. The "houses" we looked at for huge amounts of money were not fit to live in! We have a beautiful place and until the right people come along well be here. Just hoping that we don't get real sick again. Hope you have a great year!
