    Default Membrane Cleaning and Testing

I am looking for recommendations on where to send my Mark E8 to have it professionally cleaned and performance tested. Do I need to send it back to the manufacturer (I don't even know if this is an option) or are there other places that will do it also. Of course price is a consideration but not the most important one. What has been the experience of others who have done this? Is it worth it? Were you happy with the results?
    Thanks in advance

Most maple suppliers around here will send them off. They get shipped to Lappierre,H2O,CDL etc.

I have done it before but haven't recently. The cost was why I stopped doing it. I can buy a new membrane for about 700. How does the membrane perform. If you are not getting the capacity of your RO no matter what you do then either send it out or buy a new one.

I have only sent mine out once (last year) and they had 3 seasons on them. My test came back at 100%. I'm now thinking I'll only send them every 4 years unless I have a problem. My 4x40's cost just over $100 ea. to get cleaned and tested.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.
