Encouraging Start Today
Put in my first 25 buckets today. Wasn't expecting anything to flow but one spout finally let a few drops loose and it registered 3% on my refractometer. I hope this is a sign of good things to come after this long winter. I'll finish the other 50 this weekend so I'm ready for next week's forecast warm-up. Good luck everyone.

that's great to hear im just west of you and put in 10 taps the other day and nothing yet hoping to get the rest in this weekend and let the sap flow at 3%!!
Great to hear. Im in the Bristol Hills. Need to finish chimney on sugar shack and tap this weekend. Looking forward to a good year!!!!!! It will be interesting to see sugar % with all the snow pack.
