I am looking to build a "tasting bar" in my sugarhouse and was hoping to get some tapwood for at least the top but also perhaps sides. Does anyone know anyone or anywhere that sells it?

Allard Lumber Company in Brattleboro, VT. I bought about 500 board feet and used it as wainscot on walls in sugarhouse. The taphole maple I purchased was already planed and 1" thick, random widths from 6"-12".Originally Posted by Danaputnam

Also, if you want, bring me a log with tap holes in it, I can saw it for you, but I have no planer. Realize, if old metal taps are detected in it, that portion will be cut out. I'm in Oneida, NY.
Dave Klish, I recently bought a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.
