my best year so far. 76 gal. of finished syrup. pulled all my taps last fri. of march because of weather forecast for upcoming week. hope to be back next year.
I pulled and finished boiling today. Twenty five plus gallons of syrup made on 75 red maple taps. Lots of boiling with a pretty low sugar conc. all year. They ran really well to make up for it. The family farm had a great year as well, still boiling there today and will end up with approx 575 gallon of syrup from 1400+ taps.
