    Last boil till midnight and finished today nice 1.5 gal ,about 13-15 gal total for the year.
    2021 95 taps all on 3/16' natural gravity 2018 home built 4x40 RO 2017 1000 sap 15gal syrup 4 runs of 3/16 natural vac 1 of 5/16 2016 775gal of sap made 12gal syrup 2015 18.5 gal about 55 taps. Have the best wife! cub cadet volunteer 4x4 sap hauler

    Why are you done? Temps look OK for the sap to run. Are the peepers out?

    Peepers,nothing running.Made about 13-15 gallons,The temps are not below freezing here don't think it that much colder there?

    Yeah I'm still cleaning stuff,coffee urn and there was 20 oz in it from the filters draining,that and I have 9 full 8oz cases full and I didn't keep track of what I sell,Watch what you post the government will want to collect something from us!!! I caught the first good run 1/30 or so when it hit 60 degrees and most after that.Found out I need a bigger barrel on my 9 tree run overflowed many times.Good luck to you since it sounds your in the thick of things get-it!!!

    I'll find out what's going on at my place today. Collected 180 gls on thursday. Forecast says below freezing nights to Wed.

    Got 30 gls from some buckets and a short run. Sap clear and tastes good. Dumped ~ 50 gls from my two main runs. Looks likes things are done for the year. Made 65 gls of syrup so far. Now to empty the evap. and finish off the last of the sweet.

    Does the season ever really end? Just switch focus to thinning the woods, elevating low spots, finding new trees or runs and getting firewood ready.

    Your right it doesn't Im splitting wood now and eating GREAT breakfasts,salads and so on with syrup.I mix balsamic vinegar and syrup on my salad everyday and that's work to eat and don't forget about how hard it is to eat ice cream with syrup on it!!!
