Still Sap N Happy
Collected 40 gal yesterday at 7pm from 17 trees, taps? ,1- 18 gallon drum overflowing, some trees taped earlier are done,just took a walk now and looked and 1 drum 12 gal at least and 5 gal buckets 2-3 gal need to collect early today.I'm boiling a 140 gal batch now and maybe add today's to it see how it goes.23 degrees last night maybe 45-48 today WOW what a run!

0323131136.jpgJust finished 168 gal batch and ended up with about a good 3 gal syrup nice looking stuff,tasty!! bottled 2 6-packs of Corona nips also,can't wait till I go to work and the boss see me with it one day!! Collected 16 gal today to add to the 48 from Sunday for the next batch later this week and see what else flows maybe almost the end,some trees are done.

Yes 3 more gal syrup and still 65 gal or so of sap to boil,I don't know why my house is cold and my wood pile is shrinking HAHA!
