    Default SAP and HAPPY!!

    Wow thought it was done collected 52 gallons today,2 trees with 5 gallon buckets overflowing and my 1 collection drum also will see what tomorrow brings still flowing!! probable missed 10-20 gal on the ground, at least 1 more boiling party wooohooo!!!! half the tress I think are done,tapped them earlier like 2 weeks

    You have the best avatar name!! I can't wait to boil Sunday after only a week since I boiled down 250 gal and was tired for 2 days

    Thanks. I thought it was kind of funny when I chose it. Sounds like you need to send some sap weather up to Shawn too. And Shawn, you're in good company. I've only collected up enough sap to do one batch so far and today things are still locked up tight. The good news is that all this cold weather will likely boost our sugar content so when things finally start to flow again we won't need as much sap to get syrup.

    Started late today boiling but got 52 down to15 or so and let it go out for the night but it will stay warm for a while and evaporate some more while I wait till tomorrow,because I collected another 22 gal of sap today.Things still looking good didn't get to warm maybe 37 today if that not much sun either.

    Collected 70 gallons 3/21 looking good this week again!

    Collected another 40 gallons today,guess I have to start boiling Friday night!! sounds like a party coming on!
