Tapped 11 trees today,if it flows might tap a few more.

Should be rippin Monday Tuesday!! I cant wait.Just made a big mountain of snow behind the barn and tarped it to store sap and it will last till April like last year.I was getting nervous not having a good snow storm to make the pile but we received 8-9".I cut holes in the pile to store the drums for a couple days till boiling.

Good idea on piling up the snow, Ill put in the shade and it will last awhile. Got a gallon of sap tonight, some trees producing and some bone dry.

I use my backhoe and then cut holes for the drums then tarp it in may layers from a big tarp to trap the air mine stays in the shade most of the day and last till April!! They all should run today tonight ??

Been doing well, have 18 gallons so far, some trees producing like Niagara Falls, some bone dry. Will boil over weekend and tap a few more trees.
