    Default Season Summary

I called it last Thursday and pulled taps. I probably could have gotten a couple more boils, but everything was getting to the point it needed attention and I had been at it since January 14th. So here is my summary:

Tap Date January 14th; two weeks earlier than my average

average sugar brix in sap 1.5

Total gallons of sap boiled 715 gallons

Syrup Made and bottled 12 1/4 gallons (I measure after bottling, syrup lost in filtering is not counted)

Last year's syrup total 16 gallon bottled

It sounds like you did pretty good considering this season's weather. Hopefully, next year we can all get back on track!
