I started tapping Sunday afternoon. I got 25 taps in . I did 15 more on Monday . It was slow going as I had to run all the tubing and drops too. I had about 20 gal. By 4 o'clock .

I put 25 in over the weekend, too. I have another 25 to go but am going to wait until this weekend and see how the weather progresses past the cold dip we're supposed to get.

I collected 25 gal. Off of 45 taps. I have 2 taps in a 20" red maple but didn't get anything from it .
55 degrees and no sap . I have more ants,moths and flies in my buckets than sap .
Tom how about mosquitoes? Ive never seen them in February but I did this year on the past warm days
Yep,I forgot about the mosquitoes . Sap is starting to get cloudy . Does that mean the fun is about over ?
I had to chain my temporary sugar shack down yesterday so it wouldn't blow over as we were getting 40 mph wind gusts .
