Having a great week, sap run good.Got it all finished today. Cold didn't run much today.Filter 2 batches so far, syrup looks good so far.New hood works great ,run around 175 to 180 degrees.Lost my camera in a tote of sap, it don't work anymore. Darrell

I am up on the north shore (Chapman Settlement) we got 10 cm of snow yesterday and last night, still a couple of feet of snow in the woods in spots. We boiled 70 gallons of sap off Saturday and 30 gal. on Wednesday and it started running again this afternoon. There should be one good week left then some small runs after that.

We've been busy here in Elmsdale. Last week we had 500 litre runs for 3 days straight. Emptied the tanks last night at 11. Enjoyed today off! Runs will peter out now. We'll see what tomorrow brings...
