Prefiltering sweet
So we dump and clean the evaporator (flu and syrup pans on 18x48 Vision raised flu wood fire). Wondering if anyone filters the sweet before they put it back in the evaporator. Tons of nitre and it seems counter productive putting it back in a clean pans. I haven't try sending it through a prefilter through (SL vac filter/canner).

2018- 5 spiles into milk jugs, stove top, caught the maple bug hard.
