Hoping against hope, but....
Today's ten day forecast for lower NY finally shows two consecutive days of 30 degrees!
Feb 21st and 22nd. It is my completely uneducated opinion that this indicates the end of the freeze for my area, and the warm up will begin shortly thereafter.
Unfortunately, not before.

But everywhere north is still in the 20s......
