    Default Maple cream machine, love it and hate it...

    Hey all getting ready for our spring 2022 tour season which means maple cream. I love how easy it is to make but just hate the clean-up, those tubes! Does anybody have a method to make it any easier? Right now after I make the cream I boil water while I get most of the cream scraped out of the machine. I have not found a good way to clear the tubes of cream. Then I run a little hot water through a few times save that and run a little more and save that and then I run water through until clear but throw that water away. Very laborious and I feel like I waste too much. I re-boil the saved cream water for the sugar or throw it back into the evaporator.

    what does your clean-up look like? I'd love to know your ideas. Amy

    I have a lapierre maple butter machine. I took a few pictures of the clean out tool we use. Hardy any waste with this. The tube holds a 250 ml jar of butter. I’m using my phone so I can’t attach pictures. Send me your email address and I will forward them off
