I would put a vac pump at the sugar house and run 3000' of dry line from the sugar house to the end of the lot. Save your self a lot of time, labor, and money.

Lets say that you design the entire system to drain to the lowest point using 1 1/2" mainline. Then run the vacuum to the middle of the system with a 4" stand pipe about 10' high so sap cant climb the pipe. That will act like a dry line and all the trees will be under vacuum and the sap will run to the collection tank??????

My problem with running dry line from camp is that my gen(40kw) set is maxed out which I use to do everything else.I allready have the vac pump head which will put out plenty of cfm's.My worries were with the efficacy and reliability of the sap pump.Or I just put a 2000 gal tank and pump at the end of the day.
